7 things you must see in Katmandú
January 16, 2020
This time my trip started with 6 amazing days visiting Nepal. This country has always been into my bucket list and finally I was able to check it out. I have spent my time in Nepal between two cities and I have seen a lot of really interesting things around the area.
In this post, I will talk about the main city and the variety of things that you can and must do if you visit.
First of all, let's talk a little about Katmandú. It is a very chaotic city with approximately 1,4 millions habitants and that it is located at 1300 meters above the sea level. The temperature was amazing, since during the day I was walking around with my t-shirt and a sweater; but you really have to be careful, cause when the sun goes down the temperature drops down drastically and this is how I have started my flu that last me for 13 days.
In Katmandú I picked a really traditional hotel where to stay at, the Baber Mahal Villas (which was not in the real city centre but it was just like 2 km walking from it. On the 28th of December I arrived at late afternoon and had dinner at the hotel restaurant to try their amazing Nepalese dishes, while watching a traditional Nepalese dance.
